IB Studio Art IB Art is for 11th or 12th students who are taking the IB Art exam. SL students will complete this in one school year, while HL students complete the course over a period of two school years.
Worksheets to be fill in and uploaded into Focus, to have items printed for student Visual Art Journals. The worksheets can be found with the assignment resources in FOCUS.

The IB Visual Art EXAM 3 parts - Comparative study, process portfolio (journal) and exhibition.
ALL work must be photographed and have a student reflection in the exhibition. .

2021-2022 Students will be required to have a Visual Art Journal. The first section will be used to document the Comparative study (1/3 of the exam) For every art piece made this year, the journal pages must show document research, planning (sketches), process photos and reflections. The IB exam requires scanning 20-30 pages in the journal for Process Portfolio (1/3 of the course exam).
1st quarter - first assignment is to complete the COMPARATIVE STUDY that will be used for the IB exam.

The comparative studies student PowerPoint will count as the student's mid-term exam.

F. HL students must also reflect on the extent to which their work have been influenced by the research in 3-5 pages in journal [12]
2. Process Portfolio (for every unit of study) - Students must complete a minimum of two in each grading quarter.
Documentation must be put in the student journal (this may be a digital journal, hard paper journal, or combination of the two)
